Georgina only woke up again when COT started. Sammie had the toughest game to play, it was harder than last year with Alex. Ella was just bitter at being eliminated and that's why she spoke out against Sammie. It wasn't known that one of them (or specifically Georgina even) would go and visit Ella. Tim was bitter than Sammie challenged him running the show, and that's why he tried to undermine Sammie with Woody. It's hard to plan everything in advance, much easier outside the game in your armchair.

Paddy has a chance of winning mainly because of everyone else trying to not get the others to win As much as I don't like him, that'd be fairly amusing, and if someone else "should have won" then they should either have played a better game or been more likeable!
