Yes. Because the main issue is NOT the number of fires that have been started, it's the speed and ease with which the fires are spreading due to the dry heat.

facts are, there must be some strong winds since smoke is going all the way from Australia towards Chile


when there were fires in portugal, we saw smoke from that coming towards my country too back in 2017
