obviously it's wrong that's the point I'm making. But sometimes these teenagers willingly put themselves in this position, whether it's naivety or trying to act like they're grown up who knows.

The SNP guy was stupid especially in his position of job & why was he talking to a 16 year old in the first place online?? when he has a teenage son, it's weird. But the 16 year old was responding back to him . When I was 16 I doubt I would of replied to a guy who's obviously much older !! .

The situations aren't really comparable, there's a difference between a groupie seeking to meet a rock star for sex, and someone just happening to have an instagram. Jagger had no way of knowing her age, while the SNP guy knew the kid was 16.

He's also been texting a 25 year old .

16 may seem creepy but it's the age of consent but it seems more creepy as his own son is a teenager, I think 16 is still a kid and still young , but you get 16 year olds sleeping with adults in their 30's & 40's .


And yet the 15 year old groupie was underage , and some people think it's Jagger's fault.

I really think the age of consent should be raised to 18. I wouldn't even mind if the equalising of the AoC was reverted, and only gays had to be 18 again. I wooonder whhhhhy Peter Tatchell (who goes into schools and says that love has no age) was so keen on getting the gay AoC lowered

Well good luck on the age of consent being raised ! , For a long time the age of consent has been 16 and I can't see it budging . I've always found it too young aswell.

This is why people get annoyed as you can have sex at 16 , join the army and get married with parents permission yet you can't drink or vote . Seems like contradiction .

I saw a documentary about a girl marrying a man she knew when she was 11 and when she was 16 she married him and he was allegedly pushing 40 yet looked much older .

Eh, you can't take part in active combat until 18, and you have to be in full time education until you're 18 too, so the only way I see it as a contradiction is the AoC being too low.

Like, obviously if two teenagers are in a relationship and both want to, stuff is gonna happen regardless of the letter of the law, but it should be higher to give them legal protection from predators.
