...I think it’s as someone has just said on the radio...the unnecessary things written about her in these articles that are as much click/bait opinion and slant, as they are fact...wouldn’t be the reason for her unstable emotional and mental health ...but everything will have possibly contributed another ‘layer’...the only ‘control’ we’ll ever have over that is the control we have with ourselves and how we ourselves, contribute...how we add...

No one on here knows anything about what happened when Caroline was arrested. Yet I've read some despicable posts on here, including seeing her referred to as a paedophile. Some of those old threads make uncomfortable reading.

She's was obviously a very troubled young woman. I'll remember her as the beautiful, vibrant woman who won Strictly.

It’s a thread that says she has died by taking her own life.

Members can bring up the hypocrisy of some members that where giving her abuse without hearing all the evidence and then come in this thread praising her and calling the papers scum when they themselves were hanging her after reading what the papers had written.

Some people need to wind their heads in, it’s an embarrassment to read.

And I never had a go at her before. The opposite, I defended her when she was called a nonce on this forum.

There have been not nice things said about Caroline by a number of members in previous threads, you included but is now really a time to be dragging these things up.

The girl is dead....for whatever reason she decided this life was not worth living. Her family, friends and fans are grieving. Is now a time to try and point score.

I couldn't believe this news when I heard. I thought (and desperately hoped) it was just a hoax. Caroline hasn't left my thoughts since this news broke 24 hours ago. It shocks and saddens me that such a charismatic, prominent and CURRENT television host has lost her life to, of all things, suicide. As a society we are moving at such a quick pace with regard to technological advances and our interconnectedness with eachother via means such as social media; and although this can be a great thing which we can all benefit from, it also proves in equal measures to be damning and dangerous.

This time last year Flack was at the top of her game. Strictly, Love Island, heck even The X(tra) Factor made her a household name who might not have been loved by all, but was certainly recognised as an key figure in British culture. Media speculation was always rife about her but at least she seemed to be coping. I can't wrap my head around that she's gone. I am very happy she's being given the respect she deserves by her colleagues, friends and anyone that knew her. She was clearly a lovely woman and had that cheeky, geezer-bird-ish quality about her which so many people gravitate to and love. It's absurd that we have to witness such a beautiful, outgoing and successful person be pushed to the point where she has to take her own life. Absurd.

Let's be real here, she could have well faced a prison sentence. What she did could be classed as GBH or ABH one of the two, or even attempted murder.

I think that, along with career and financial losses, that was the reason she resorted to this.

My best mate committed suicide in 2014, it came totally out of the Blue, and was shocking, because to me, that wasn't him. But the thought of him possibly going to prison spiralled him into depression in no time, and that was that.
