It's nasty and gratuitous.

Trying to devalue the sadness people feel over her tragic death by comparing it to random hypothetical deaths.
If we are honest with each other, as you put it, she featured in some forum members lives for years through the shows she was associated with.
They had time to get to care for her and appreciate her. And, even with their past criticism of some of her actions, they have the right to mourn her passing without getting mocked.
