I think the point of the thread has been lost, the point is the usual flesh or nude tone of plasters has not been too diverse. It's seen as a big deal in the beauty community to not extend shade ranges and are looked down on for not being inclusive enough.
I applaud tesco for addressing this issue, yes there are clear plasters and these might be crap that's not the point is it? The point is now the little boy/girl who has a skin tone plaster can have one in their skin tone, we might not appreciate the meaning of that for many.

I think this is a good idea. I had one on the side of my face by my ear for a couple of days because of minor surgery and it definitely would have been better having a plaster which was less obvious

It's not something I've ever really thought about. But if there is such a need within the black community, I wonder why a black business person didn't make them years ago.
Personally I like Barbie plasters, or at a push, Disney Princess. |
