They rushed to put the title on a character that didnt need the title, his character was about getting revenge on those who wronged him but it made it harder to do that with the title

Not disputing this, if they had him drop the title in a manner that made sense fair enough. But when they book someone to look unstoppable for the best part of a year just to have them lose in 3 minutes against a part time who couldn't even fully lift him for his finisher it's just pure laziness and an insult all around.
