I like your vibe son but if you want a little input from an ex-forum-admin - post "likes" are a disaster. I implemented them on our forum, spent weeks on an entire custom code and layout for them.

They promote cliquiness and are used to bully. If you end up in a disagreement scenario, you end up with the "person with more forum pals" getting tonnes of likes on their posts and the less popular member getting few or none even if they're talking much more sense, and it just highlights the tribalism and creates an inequality in the weight behind individual posts.

If you want a nicer forum, I'd scrap that policy!
