Has anyone seen the very bright star in the sky the last few nights, apart from the amazing moon, that is the planet Venus

My bf was shouting at me last night like “omg you can see Venus it’s massive” and I was expecting some Star Wars kinda **** where you can see it up close but it was legit a dot in the sky
