I was wondering how honest I should've been in this speech but it'll probably all come out in the end anyway so here we go!
So pre-game, Tony, Mitchell, Matthew and I formed a "winners alliance". I think everyone clocked onto that ok immediately but nothing was being done about that. This alliance probably would've formed whether we were winners or not because I'm good friends with the three of them
That was until I was approached after Round 1 by Wizard. Now I thought he'd be out to get me after OTT1 but here we are! Ultimately being take out by Wizard would've been an honour anywho so I complied.
Neither alliance made moves at first and I was feeling a tad threatened as alliances were becoming apparent and I got word that Matthew was working with another, bigger alliance.
That's how games go and that's how games are played, that's fine! The person could have been lying, Matthew could have been double crossing them, or double crossing us. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt until Marc messaged me.
Marc is popular (heck in many scenarios I'd have voted him as winner, he's a strong player) so we always thought getting him out was ideal. However Marc revealed Kate was gunning for Mitchell which obviously isn't ideal given I am completely loyal to Mitchell.
Aaron and I coincidentally messaged each other at the same time when we had the vote in our hands in the music round. He actually told me he wanted to evict Marc and that I should evict Barry (who Marc told me to evict as he was in Kate's alliance). I sent that message to Matthew and Tony to mislead them, and then I conspired against Matthew with Aaron. I told Aaron I thought Matthew was sabotaging the music round for our team (which I feel awful about because he did a lot of the songs, sorry Matthew

) but Aaron was pretty convinced. I convinced him to vote off Matthew because I couldn't bring myself to vote off Matthew, and a part of me did hope he would go against what he said and would vote Marc instead of Matthew. I think Matthew realised i conspired against him but I don't think Tony clicked on. Which meant I could say "let's avenge Matthew by targeting Aaron!", thereby securing Tony's vote against Aaron if Aaron ever went up for eviction.
Convincing Aaron that Matthew sabotaged wasn't too hard because Matthew did suggest we sent it in a list with a number missing which therefore affected our scores.
I am a tad hypocritical because I didn't help my team at all in the music challenge as I was immune. I thought, "If my team wins, I definitely keep Tony on my alliance and maybe Matthew if he is loyal to us". Ultimately I had complete trust in Wizard and Mitchell on the other team however, so I spoke with them. I fed them my team's answers which ultimately wasn't helpful but they also told me where my team was going wrong and I made zero effort to correct my team. Wizard and Mitchell weren't telling me to sabotage their team, we just discussed the songs together. I even tried to get people to admit to Shazamming in case it was classed as cheating and we would get disqualified in case our team had a last minute revelation Sorry guys

us getting 15/60 is low-key funny though.
Anyway I won the Diamond Power of Veto (my first competition win) and replaced Wizard for Sle. Sle is pretty Utr, I felt bad nomming Aaron as I did say we could work together (we never did), and I didn't nominate Marc because he said he'd help me evict Kate. I don't know hd he did or not because after the music round we didn't speak, but no matter how we all voted, we managed to get rid of Kate and Sle. Sle was a good target because he guessed the winners alliance (although we weren't really ruthless as people might've expected) but none of us had messaged Adam at all so he was off the mark with that
Then came the next game. Good ol' Majority Rules. Marc approached Tony with a proposal to work with them to try and get me and Mitchell out, but Tony had/has been working with us all game, so ultimately Tony helped us get the same answers as Marc. Wizard helped us get answered from Marc's group too. However Mitchell and I planned to go behind Wizard and Tony's back and sabotage one answer from different questions to each of them. Wizard did the same to us and I ultimately feel bad about doing it to Tony but Tony also recommended that we butchered one answer anyway to avoid suspicion, which actually gave us the idea. I'm so sorry Tony

we were going to protect you anyway
Mitchell won and evicted Marc straight away because he was conspirunt against me and Mitchell. Then came Adam and Aaron because ultimately me and Mitchell were allianced with Tony and Wizard and not them. It was a big risk since a dragging was inevitable so one of us would be taken down. But we hoped that Adam would target Aaron.
I actually managed to get Adam talking and he told me that he was going to evict Aaron and that Aaron would evict Tony. He had no proof Aaron would target Tony so I know he was bull****ting but I know that, if Adam lied about evicting Aaron and evicted one of us instead, I could use it against him if he progressed past the bloodbath. Therefore I was unsure what to do because Adam was asking me to form an alliance to save him. I ultimately turned it down because if I saved him one of my alliance would be up, and he did say he'd evict Aaron, meaning all of our alliance members would be in the final 4 (which I was aiming for).
When it began time to vote, I told Adam I'd convince the others to vote Aaron, at that point Adam told me he was planning to evict Tony himself now. Evicting Aaron was therefore our best shot, as we knew for certain Adam would evict Tony (who he also said would evict Mitchell which was clearly false lol) but had no proof that Aaron would evict Tony, thereby it was likely he could have evicted Adam. Sadly Aaron evicted Tony anyway but it was apparent that there was no saving Tony. I'm sorry we weren't completely honest with you, Tony. It wasn't personal and we protected you as much as we could. We just knew telling you about Matthew could complicate things and I'm sure you'd be able to appreciate that a lie in this game isn't personal. If I caused offence, I'm sorry
So there we were in the final 4. Me and Mitchell always said we'd keep Adam round because he would be the easy pawn and we could easily sway him to vote our way. We never actually spoke with him and we didn't intend him to even get him to the final 4
Me, Wizard, and Mitchell had a lot of discussion about what to do if one of us won HoH. Wizard initially said we shouldn't take him to the final HoH, then Mitchell said he'd rather me and Wizard take each other and he'd risk it in a final competition against Adam, but we were under the impression the game would be speed based and given me and Wizard had better internet and laptop access, we said we would go against Adam and guarantee Mitchell a place in the final 3. The final competition was ultimately not speed-based and the three of us worked together against Adam. As I won all 2 of the PoVs I easily got that question right, and I knew that my opposing group in the music round got Dua Lipa right (as searching for "Dua Lipa" in the game thread reveals Morgan saying "Group 2, Dua Lipa saved you", and also because I remember saying with Mitchell and Wizard that both teams put "Hillary"

" I do overthink however and I let Adam answer first and then answered after him just to ensure our scores were level.
And with that, we were in the final 3. Our alliance made it. Counting the team HoH as a HoH win, the three of us have won three competitions each (ironically, Marc told Tony I was "obviously" winning all the HoHs when at that point I won 0, and both Mitchell and Wizard won two at that point of the game. So he was actually right with Mitchell).
Ultimately my game plan was super risky. All it took was for Aaron to speak up about what really happened in the music round to throw it for me but it ended up being a good game move. I must've gotten Marc's vote against Kate by keeping Kate around (not sure if I could have convinced Matthew to, and Marc could have easily exposed me if I didn't take him through. It also meant Tony was convinced to evict Aaron (Tony wanted Adam out asap at first) so the decision to lie and convince Aaron to save Marc ultimately had some good ripple effects.)
Side notes: Wizard proposed the idea of one of us nomming the other in the Majority Rules HoH before it began so the other could win veto and save them, but given it was Bingo, there was only half the chance the nominee would be saved, and I don't know if Tony would have saved Wizard if he was up for eviction, putting Wizard on the chopping block especially as Mitchell couldn't vote. Ultimately I won and therefore I could have saved Wizard and gave him immunity if he was nommed, but I am so glad we didn't entertain that plan. Way too risky. And while I'm sad Tony was evicted, it was certainly easier to play for the final 3 against Adam instead of Tony. So there's that.
I actually suspected Matthew was in an alliance against us because Wizard told me he was in an alliance of five (or six?) people and Matthew was in it. Before this Matthew told us he was in a Discord server of seven people and he said it was just for the house and that he wouldn't be surprised if we (Me, Tony, and Mitchell) weren't added later. We never were and I just assumed Matthew told us he was randomly added to justify his position in an alliance group chat if he was ever exposed. Again, all just assumptions. It didn't feel wise to take chances by asking Matthew for the truth. So that's why he wasn't given a second chance oops
I did make some decisions which weren't easy on my conscience but what I did know is that I wanted to protect my alliance members. Ultimately yes I threw Matthew under the bus when he mightn't have been been against us, but trying to challenge that could have put a target on mine, Mitchell's, or even Tony's back. If Matthew was secretly against us I have no ill will against him (it's a game after all) and obviously I repeat the sentiment.
It's hard to convince you why you should vote for me. Wizard has told me he has some shocks in store for his finale speech which I can't wait to hear about but he has also been honest to us about certain things about us (he said he wanted to throw us under the bus but couldn't). I look forward to his and Mitchell's speech and I know they're both deserving winners! Ultimately it's down to who you feel played the best game. If you think the way Wizard or Mitchell played was better, that's totally valid and both were strong players who deserve the win. If you're on the fence I'm more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have!
