I agree with you that Footballers shouldn't be made scapegoats over this pandemic, but still there's a way to respond that still shows compassion (especially to his fellow countrymen) and Adebayor just lacked any decency with his response imo.

Maybe I'm seeing it differently to Adebayor because I would try and financially help countries out if I had the amount of money that a Footballer has.
