As Expected Rolls-Royce
are to get rid of 9,000 workers
They Build Engines for new Planes
which no one is ordering.

China's Covid 19 Virus
is Destroying so many jobs
all over the World.

The Rolls-Royce Chief
went on Ian King 9:30AM Business Show
SkyNews HD, he talked some good sense
on why the cut backs must happen
because of Covid 19.

Well Done GMBHD itv for interviewing Andrew Neil
who was in France.
He is ready for his BBC2HD to come back, but as he said
the BBC has put it all on their one news channel.

Well done to Adam Boulton
now from 10AM SkyNewsHD who still does
his Political newspaper review once a day, now.

How have you missed the point in so many posts that it’s the key workers kids safety being compromised

Year group ... 30 teachers. ...what are you on about now...like I said in the last thread it’s exhausting having to explain everything in triplicate to you ...go back and read the posts again maybe

RIVM's Jaap Van Dissel admitting he and RIVM made mistakes in comparisons of death rate with other european countries, now saying death rate of covid in Netherlands is among one of highest in europe

but more good positive news now here

very soon visitors are allowed again in care homes

https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2020/0...ng-up-testing/

more detail from last nights press conference here

now it'll move into the ''more testing and immediately isolation phase''

as minister of health Hugo De Jonge says we follow a specific ''planned route'' based on advice by RIVM and the OMT

so the easing down of measures will still be one step at a time

our PM Rutte also applauded the youth here, for sticking to the rules overall, staying at home most of the time, he also wished us a nice holiday for tomorrow (ascension day) but still warns us to remain cautious, while still trying to resume bit close to normal life

Sooooo ..

If an authority ( say Liverpool for example ) has stated their schools won’t be reopening on the 1st June as per government guidelines BUT then a school decides to open a week or so later anyways ..

I wonder how that school will be regarded by the council / council leader ??

Why does that make it Bollocks though, things turn out better than worst case scenario and that means everything was bollocks? It's only real if it gets really bad.....wasn't the whole point of Lockdown to stop that happening?

Haters will hate . .. especially after the event .

I’d suggest that if the NHS had been overwhelmed a few weeks ago then the same critics would be screaming that the government should have built temp hospitals like the other countries did ..

Yeah absolutely. We built temporary hospitals here in Ireland too, thankfully because of Lockdown we haven't been overwhelmed either and I'm very grateful for that, our health system wouldn't have handled that very well. It would have been devastating to have had to watch scenes like there was in Italy where medical staff had to choose between patients for ventilator use, horrific. We should be so thankful for that

Yes ... this is why I detest politics - apart from anything else it basically makes threads like this one meaningless .

also Jaap Van Dissel: we might still see covid cases until 2022

and we also don't know what the consequences will be from the easing down of the measures now, we will find that one out, in few months from now

Teachers possibly furloughed as they are more expensive and it is an Academy?

Academy is a business so the bottom line is the balance sheet like any other business?

Right instead of being rude look at your own posts and see the lack of understanding in them. Limiting your interaction with people is difficult if administering care but there is nothing to say there is less risk attached to one support worker/ teacher than another. That's my point.
