There is literally nothing wrong with that whatsoever. If you want to live in a state you can't have an opinion in go to NK.

The forum isn't here to do as you please, and discussing the government's handling of the pandemic is a huge part of discussing the virus.

Of course it is, ridiculous to suggest otherwise

Exactly. The "stop saying bad things about the government" is the stuff that has no place in the thread.

Fair enough but talking about nothing but the government response (or 90%+ at least) is (mandatory "in my opinion" disclaimer) pointless, mostly a distraction technique/frustration punching bag for people feeling powerless about their circumstances ("I can't be angry at a virus, but I sure can be angry at a politician!"), and ... frankly ... getting pretty boring. There's been plenty to criticise but we're venturing frequently into stuck-record territory now, I feel like I'm reading the same cluster of posts every day.

Perhaps there should be a separate "party-politics-free" thread.

not sure if i can add anything with my advice in ''corona related topics'' but maybe keep one then for government right or wrong debating

and maybe one more as a statistics, graphics, coronavirus only discussion thread (also not just negativity, but also positivity, hopeful news)

i feel more at ease myself looking at graphics now, rather than the usage of daily numbers, or the looking at death totals solely

Or people can discuss or not discuss the parts of the topic they want rather than being told to piss of elsewhere when their contributions are just as valid as anyone else's.

there, now i have no problems anymore with discussing anything from government in here

and also some things from our RIVM too what i criticize with all honesty, also police who did nothing about too crowded beaches last thursday which i also found quite wrong, they just should've intervened and fined those people but they didn't and let them get on with what they're doing (whilst disobeying 1.5 metres distance rule)

On the other hand, seeing the same people constantly tell people they’re wrong for stressing or just, wrong in general day after day is also pointless, all of this is pointless, discussing anything to do with anything is pointless cause none of our opinions are going to do anything, why is it only certain subjects are expected to be kept to a minimum to please certain people?

Gotta get those sly digs in somehow, but as Nicky has just created a thread for such a purpose, it probably won't be brought up as an issue again.

Dominic Cummings (in this instance) is nothing more than a man looking after his family before anything else.

Why people are up in arms about this is flabbergasting.

He advises the government, not the other way around, and a lot of people call boris a joke. Yet they are all following the rules he has set like his little lambs.

He advises the government not the other way around, and a lot of people call boris a joke, at best yet are all following the rules he has set like his little lambs.
