I don’t think the parents were involved at all....they are guilty of leaving their children alone...along with the other couples who also abandoned their children that night. Madeline sadly paid the price and I’m sure the Parents are haunted by that every single day of their lives...a life sentence for them...don’t get me wrong I have little sympathy.

Great news if they are absolved of murdering her, they have to live with leaving her...but having to fight against claims they murdered her must be horrendous

I hope they get some closure....I read the McCanns won't believe she is dead until they have proof, not a conviction although after 13 years I'm not sure what proof there would be.

The forgotten victims in this are the twins too, they probably have not had an ideal childhood with all the media scrutiny on their parents.
