We've as yet been given no news at all on my youngest's schooling. She's SEN provision within a mainstream primary school. The school itself will be partially re-opening in August but no news on special needs classes, as there's no way to implement social distancing (and it would frankly be cruel to try). My daughter is fine obvs, a little lonely, but we know how to home educate her and she has her big sister for company. I really fear for some of her classmates who, to be blunt, rely entirely on the education system to make progress... and also those who don't have siblings at home and must feel very isolated. You can't exactly explain a pandemic and lockdown to a 7 year old with communication disabilities
