You don't need a "proper" mask though, and supply will meet demand with home-made ones... Either people making them locally or the 10 million etsy/ebay shops that have sprung up selling them. It's good business if you have a sewing machine and are quick at it, you can make one for about 50p and sell it for £3. More if you're skilled enough to make "above average quality" ones/quirky stylish ones.
