Sounds like fanwank tbh.
Like, the Disney SW is mostly garbage, but that's more due to Hollywood "written by committee" type trends than KK herself.
SW may or may not have been better when it was being made by some kook who first made a scifi film his financiers let him do what he wants because at the time no-one gave a crap about scifi, and then he went on to pay for them himself ... but that same guy always hated the Hollywood system, and I can't see him wanting to play along with Hollywood, and I also can't see Disney letting him make something without their cookie cutters.
KK and JJ are made for one another though, boring Hollywood hacks who can make surface-level exciting films.
