Poor old Will ,you don't expect to lose a sibling that "young"...
This is gonna sound morbid, but can we not use the passive voice? He didn't die after a mental health battle, that makes it sound like the repercussions from a bad bout of flu. He took his own life due to his mental health.
Mental health -especially depression- is prevalent and yet under-addressed issue among especially young men, and anyone who falls to such battles should be used as an example as to why such things need more attention.
