Meet Joe Black.

...awww, I love the old black and whites, Joey...because there wasn’t the special effects and movie technology etc of now..?..so much was focused on the more emotional, you know, with those close ups and the tears never stopped falling with the characters...?...I couldn’t list all of my old classic ‘feel’ movies because the list would be endless......but To Kill a Mockingbird, though...and obviously the Christmas sob of it’s a Wonderful Life...both such emotional movies.....also, just moving on to technicolour...An Affair to Remember, the ending...oh Lord......gorgeous and sad at the same time...

Absolutely.
I love the black and white films.

I watched Yield To The Night, with Diana Dors a while back.
Most of it was in the prison.
It had quite an effect on me, I couldn't stop watching for a second.

I'm afraid, modern films don't grip me like those.

I think I was born way too much later than I should have been.

Human centipede was a touching portrayal of the closeness of human relationships.

Oscar

Actually any film with an animal getting hurt or is in danger is my kryptonite. I can watch countless humans being mowed down with bullets or tortured, but a little dog loses his friends or something, and I'm out.

When I was a kid, there was a cinema in Oxford running lassie films on saturday afternoons. My sister took me one week, and I screamed the place down and had to leave.

I read the synopsis of that film a few years ago and I actually felt physically sick for the whole day afterwards

The first is actually really tame compared to the 2nd and 3rd ones
