Tell me, what do Meghan and Harry do to live in a massive LA mansion with 16 bathrooms? What did they do to get a megabuck Netflix deal? Not a thing - they left the daily slog of the royals to 'make their own way' then used their royal status to get a job which they have no experience in and which others will mainly do for them. Netflix bought their 'name', not their 'work'. Last edited by jet; 06-09-2020 at 01:27 PM. |

He is still a prince however.. he is royal. It's not like he's some nobody who decided to stick HRH on stuff. Oh well doesn't look like it phased them much.

It’s on the back of his name, nobody would give him a deal like that if was not for his name and Meghan would not be getting a deals if she had not married him. They don’t care about poor minority’s they have jumped on the bandwagon using other people’s suffering to feather their own nest. |

Why do large firms and corporations pay millions to celebrities and sports stars to plug their goods or services?
Because they sell more using these people. |

There where clear expectations of what it involved. And yes it is about pecking order and Meghan was not going to be top dog. The queen is the boss and everyone one else has a role to play. |

So what you're describing isn't a "job environment" at all, because if you don't like your job and the corporate structure, you're free to leave that job and find another path without being vilified for it. Apparently, the Royal Family is a job that you have to accept, politely, and never dare try to quit? And people are suggesting this is a good thing? "According to an Invictus spokesperson, the event was 'shelved' due to the Covid-19 pandemic and was a decision independent of the Netflix deal being signed. The event was shelved because the primary revenue generator was ticket sales from a live concert in Los Angeles in the spring of 2021. 'Given current circumstances with Covid, the event needed to be reconceptualised. 'This was an independent decision made prior to a partnership with Netflix. The duke remains committed as ever to the Invictus Games.' The 2020 Invictus Games which was due to be held in April were called off because of the coronavirus pandemic." Perhaps you also skipped half the article and went straight to the toxic chav comments, LT? Last edited by Toy Soldier; 06-09-2020 at 02:06 PM. |

Officials at the foundation were reportedly ‘stunned’ after a lawyer for the Sussexes informed them they would not be going ahead with the event last week, shortly before the Netflix deal was announced.
According to a report in the Sunday Times, the lawyer cited a ‘conflict’ of plans with another streaming service. A source involved in the planning of the event told the publication: ‘It’s very bad form and everyone at Invictus is gutted. |
