it was murder though, but as it is a police officer, a 6 months sentence
if it was a random individual, i am pretty sure it would be a longer sentence, but justice system is just a fail in even when cops commit crimes they get protected which is what they know so they can do this over and over again, since they won't receive harsh punishments anyway
and bad cops makes the police force look bad in general either (re: those 2 innocent policemen being shot, that one is on corrupt cops their hands)
