Trying to paint people who are repulsed by the utterly insane level of hatred aimed at this woman as her fans is silly. We are simply decent human beings that finds the hatred gross.

No sillier than painting those who dislike her as racists and haters. If you translate that dislike and criticsm into an 'insane level of hatred' then it could be equally said over and over (but isn't) that those who spend lots, if not more, time defending her are obsessively in love with her and huge fans.

Maybe you read the same comments sections of papers that Glenn talks about and you are carrying your impressions over to this site, for there is no insane hatred here.
