He's allowed an opinion on the public/media reaction to a celebrity. It couldn't be more on topic.

Again, nobody said you can't have an opinion on people. However, best to keep it based on things you actually know and not things you've either invented or think you know about how they are in private. (And then use tabloid gossip as a bible).
