That’s proper worrying !

COD eyes were definitely a thing! Me and my housemates played (... A LOT) on a small but very active private COD4 server while I was at Uni. Sometimes 5, 6 hour sessions... And I swear... Sometimes we'd play until about 10pm then head out to the union and it felt like there were still little "names" floating above people's heads .

I also got a bad case of Starcraft-brain once. Played Starcraft 2 for like 12 hours solid and then every time I closed my eyes I could still see little Starcraft units moving around.
