Coronavirus: Govt to talk to Manchester and London MPs
amid reports of tougher coronavirus tiers

[MPs in Greater Manchester and London have
been invited to briefings with a
government minister this morning - amid reports that
both areas could be placed into a higher coronavirus tier.
Health minister Helen Whateley is going to
hold a call with London MPs at 9.30am,
followed by Greater Manchester MPs at 10.45am.
Local leaders including Andy Burnham
will also be speaking with the
government after the Joint Biosecurity Centre
recommended that Manchester and Lancashire
should be moved to Tier 3, the highest alert level.]

stricter rules for mask requirement, in region of high infection rate but now also in regions of low infection rate

pubs, bars and restaurants close at 23:00 PM

events will be limited to 100 people, and party's at home with maximum of 10 people

Merkel however does not find these measures too strict enough so they might increase amount of measures a next time at press conference, discussion regarding this has been postponed until november

I'm not convinced this tier system is efficient enough.
If an area has problems getting worse, I can't see where it's wise to have anything else of few restrictive rules in place where things are going at a manageable level.
Then nearer full restrictive rules where it's seeming to be heading or is out of control more.

This traffic light system with a mix of some action and procrastination in the middle.
I myself think unwise.

Our deaths, even on the government's ridiculous manipulated 28 day ruling as figures, are heading back to over half a thousand a week almost.

I recall the media and people crowing about under a 100 deaths in a week, just weeks ago.
I don't hear them saying much now.
With the deaths back to hundreds a week.
On the ONLY 28 day figure this government has implemented to record deaths too.

That's hundreds of deaths, with thousands at least of family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues left devastated and grieving at the unnecessary deaths again taking place.
