Default Hero Marcus Rashford obtains Gov U Turn on free school meals.

Marcus is currently campaigning for free school meals to be all year round despite vehement Gov opposition.

Is he your hero? Will he prevail?

He is mine and I think he will prevail and the Gov will be forced to concede this. I certainly hope so.

He's certainly right and speaks from personal experience of his own and actually getting out there and seeing the need this is.

This PM is absolutely disgraceful he only wants backside crawlers and yes people around him.

He'll avoid taking to anyone who doesn't think all he's doing is wonderful.
He won't meet the bereaved families of the pandemic.
He'll avoid meeting Rashford.

He just scurries away if the topic gets awkward..even at the previous press conferences,he prevented the scientific experts answering awkward questions.

He's a disgrace.

The fact they haven't altered this policy and taken it on to extend over school holidays.
Is scandalous.
He warrants the bad headlines and I hope more of Con backbenchers will rebel if Labour and the other Parties bring a new vote back on this.

He's making a fuss over a small gesture just to extend the free meals scheme for all year, instead of just term times.
It's petty, wrong and heartless.

Then you'll get those, trying to defend him and this lot on this.
Absolutely unbelievable.

Why because he gives a toss? What an odd thing to say. What about his freedom of speech?

I'm not sure about the pride of Britain award however, there are many who campaign as hard as he does but without the reach he has. That said we are proud ..well most of us are :/

Shame you don't think that when the likes of farage spout on for years dividing the country with his comments and suggestions. One 22yr old black footballer makes one suggestin to government and it's shattapp, you're so annoying! Pffffft!

Hapless Hancock was being his usual either misinformed, useless or deliberately deceiving self.

They haven't communicated since June.

Imagine calling a guy campaigning against children going hungry a tit, the tory leapt out.

Marcus Rashford is fighting a noble cause and this government is proving that the legacy of milk snatcher Thatcher is alive and well. The Tory government have enough money to give themselves ridiculous budgets for meals, they have enough money to give millions in fluff contracts to Tory backers yet they are refusing to help those in need and the Tory supporters are doing what they do best, looking down at those 'below' them and blaming them for problems caused by those 'above'.

Politics is for anyone and everyone, stop with the gatekeeping bull****. Everyone should take an interest in politics and it's only those that wish to repress viewpoints they dislike that try to gatekeep who can or cannot engage in politics.

I think he’ll succeed in raising the problem to mainstream level and the general public will band together to try and help, but the help that will actually make a proper difference would be from the government and this government wouldn’t know compassion or empathy if it spat on their caviar and slapped their nannies.
