About 10 years ago I bought TEN mini rockets for £2 !!
Trouble was there was no delay after lighting them !! The moment I lit them they shot off screeching !! I only tried 2 of them as I was a nervous wreck ( I dunked the others in a bucket of water ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

They are the most annoying things.
My Staffie hates them, I dare not leave him for a second or he panics once they're going off. He has to be right close to me or stretched over my knees. Awful things. |

I can understand why kids - ie. ones under the age of 10 - would find them 'magical' or whatever but you can distract those with bloody Peppa Pig and your Disney+ subscription instead

I wonder if these are the source of those BOOMS ??
