My first best friend emigrated to Canada when I was like 8, he told me one day and the next day he was gone.

my next best friend Stephen was killed on a motorway when he was 23. Funnily enough, I searched fore his brother the other day and found out he has had 3 kids 2 girls and one boy who he called Stephen

I have 2 best pals near me now from school one who i was at his dads funeral and saw last year (he was buried near my dad about 20 feet away.)

My best pal now is Jem who i met in 1990 but i also have my 3 uni pals who i keep in touch with daily (we zoom now and then) and my 2 golf buds Andy and DUnc who I have also known since 1990
