He had more than a couple of years at the top. This was at the time when Berlusconi was President of Milan and the turnover of players was ridiculous. Do you remember they bought Jean Pierre Papin and he was European top scorer when they bought him and then they didnt play him. There was much speculation that Milan were buying players just so other teams couldnt get them. That Milan team was a dominant a team as I've ever seen and Gullit was a big part of that dominance. I'd even go as for as to possibly include Roberto Donadoni if I was to make a list like this cuz he too was incredible in that team.
I was a big fan of that team. Can you tell.
