It's what happens when someone can't see beyond 'their side' and the 'enemy'.

Trump could slit a child's throat on live TV and you could bet that a large part of the Right Wing would find a way to pin it on Biden. Republicans, Tories, and the right wing in general refuse to hold each other accountable and that's why the Right Wing is under siege from extremism, they allowed it to grow rather than call it out because it's all about hurting the other side.

Paraphrasing the words of that one infamous Trump supporter, the right wing is rapidly becoming a stance that doesn't stand for anything but hurting the 'right' people. It's all about 'owning the libs' and nothing more.
