Covid: Fines reviewed after women 'surrounded by police'
![]() [A police force that was criticised for its "intimidating" approach to two walkers is to review its lockdown fines policy. Jessica Allen and Eliza Moore said they were surrounded by police after driving five miles from their home for a walk on Wednesday, and fined Ł200 each. Derbyshire Police initially said driving to exercise was "not in the spirit" of lockdown. But it now says new national guidelines mean it will review its position. In a statement, the force said all of its fixed penalties issued during the new national lockdown will be reviewed.] ["I said we had come in separate cars, even parked two spaces away and even brought our own drinks with us. He said 'You can't do that as it's classed as a picnic'." Ms Allen said the experience was "very intimidating" and had left her feeling scared of police in general.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan...shire-55594244 |

I think all frontline hospital staff should be vaccinated first.
They're in closed contact with the virus everyday.

I always thought that was THE most obvious group to be honest .. seems ridiculous how many NHS doctors/nurses/staff have died .... there’s no point having vaccines and lockdowns if there see there aren’t enough trained people to care for us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Sky News has a specialist speaking .
Dr Zudin Puthucheary who is a an Intensive & Critical Care Consultant in England. He paints a terrible picture sadly .. Hospitals are ready to burst , all staff exhausted etc We have more patients than we’ve ever had to deal with and less staff than ever to treat them .. plus a critical lack More worryingly he said that 30% of people needing intensive care will die .. BUT the 70% of those that survive will be DISABLED for YEARS to come ! The virus does so much damage to your system but the main problem is that you will lose over 2kg of muscle mass each DAY !!! If you are in intensive care for two to three weeks you lose a frightening amount of muscle mass . The staff are now having to make decisions.. who lives and who dies . Watch out for him on Sky News throughout today .. he will be on a regular loop .. He finished by saying he was SCARED and ANGRY at the public for not staying at home .. The footfall is apparently double what it was in the first lockdown when things weren’t that desperate ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 09-01-2021 at 11:19 AM. |
