Visit and highlight...but leave the work to the real workers who work at it day and night.
It sends a good message though, and it's utterly harmless while bringing attention to a worthwhile cause. Would this cause have gotten this coverage were it not for Biden? No, it wouldn't, so if a photo op brings attention to causes and potentially nets them more volunteers and/or donations to keep up the good work then I just don't see the problem here.

I don't disagree but its what they do.....it also helps the charities/ business etc. What better advert for what you do than a celeb / politician or whatever doing what you do day in and day out. Its a marketing departments dream. Nothing for anyone to be ashamed of.

I get that....my point is visit and chat to the workers..it still gets the same publicity. Rolling up your sleeves and making out your giving a shift is imo embarressing.

With a name like O'Bama it was always obvious he was Irish

He didnt have to be there..especially when him being there will basically have slowed that particular centred operation down for a whole day..therefore people will have had to wait longer for the parcel, all for the sake if a quick photo op.

He could easily have stayed away and mentioned it in one of his speeches so the operation was not interrupted.

Incredible how doing a good deed can still be seen as something sinister by some people , I guess when people hate you they just hate you .

Slowing down the feeding of hungry children is not a good deed.

You can bet your life that donations went up after that though so they will have been able to feed more hungry children. He would have stopped as soon as the cameras stopped rolling so am no children were unduly hurt.

Didn't hear this level.of complaint when boris wss at the vaccination centre last week chatting to the vaccinators whilst the cameras were rolling slowly them down from potentially saving lives here in the UK

I don't understand the cynical attitude here, as mentioned this is a good thing and it highlights charities and hopefully gives more awareness.
