Most stars we deem as legends from various eras have murky stories about them... John Lennon's physical abuse, David Bowie allegedly similar (I'm not familiar with the allegations, guess I just put my fingers in my ears and ignored those lol), Elvis having underage flings, Miles Davis admitted to beating his wife, as did James Brown... so it does rather quickly become a list of "Okay, who wasn't a dick?" that's easier to compile.
In recent years there is still music I enjoy by people I think are nasty, bigoted assholes. Azealia Banks is a prime recent example: fantastic music, one of the best rappers of the 21st century... but a total nightmare of a person. I guess in most instances I am ignorant to their privates lives, if they were kept private. Like I'm reading a list now and it mentions Rolling Stones' Bill Wyman marrying an 18yo he'd known since she was 13 (he was 47!)
