@ Kate

Coughs, sore throats, fatigue and muscle pain are more commonly reported symptoms of the new UK coronavirus variant, according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). However, fewer people testing positive for the variant appear to be experiencing a loss of taste or smell.

FYI I’m not disputing other symptoms of covid exist. I was just saying on the helplines where we book people for tests we only recognise the 3 main symptoms as test qualifying and would only book a test for you with those main symptoms.

I've had 4.

It's not nice by any means but it's not distressing or anything either but they aren't nice when you feel awful and are struggling anyway.

Absolutely. My dad had a ridiculously high temperature with it whereas I didn’t, it affected my mum / stepmum differently as well. Thank you Ammi

Have taken two, both very quick and easy - Got the results whilst walking home. Was very anxious at first, put it off for a bit - Decided I might as well and it was painless and chill

No, It's pretty certain I had Covid back in December 2019 though, since my dad had a test a few months ago and it showed he had a small amount of antibodies which he was told meant that he had it quite a while ago which ties in well since we were all horrendously ill over that Christmas.

I haven't had any symptoms since 2019 nor do I work in a place that requires regular testing so I've never had any of the tests.
