Nope, I don't need to watch a documentary from one perspective to comment on the media coverage of these two and how Meghan's treatment compares to Kate's for the same behaviours.

Even in this thread, we saw an article posted that contained little to no facts but pure speculation to force a narrative that wasn't supported by anything resembling evidence. That's the same thing for all the coverage that Meghan has. It's just endless fiction meant to rile up the gullible and deeply foolish that lack the critical thinking to see it for what it is. People cling to gossip and speculation because they think it justifies their hate.

Then read serious articles from long time sources that have proved to be reliable over many years. I've posted their names often enough for research but no -one admits to reading them for more info.

So the one thing you can watch to try and understand why her popularity went downhill fast...the true testament with words falling out of their own mouths...its not fiction...its not gossip...it justifies why some people dislike her.

I don't need to watch it, I understand why people use it as a reason to hate her. She got emotional about finding things hard and people thought that she had no reason to find things hard because of who she is.

None of it really relates to my arguments about how the media presents them, it just shows that people think that the rich can't suffer mental health issues or struggle with parenthood because money apparently fixes everything.

...I have seen the South Africa interview and it’s always heartbreaking to see someone struggling in the way Meghan obviously was...obviously that’s my own interpretation and how I saw it...but interestingly, I was reading an Article from a New Zealand magazine so more neutral/unbias as the uk media has always been, if you like ...the negative U.K. media/social media attention given to Meghan began a lot earlier than their SA visit and it built and it built in intensity, according to timelines...and actually, it seems that there was more warmth toward her at the time of and just following the SA interview when it was realised how the extremity of it all was impacting her and her mental welfare...her more popular time in actuality we could say....and real support for her but sadly it didn’t last because the tabloid media are very relentless...

because is key to why people suddenly sat up and began to see what was going on, prior to that there were tabloid headlines and snippets but I think most people dismissed them as gossip especially the rift with William

this is where is was confirmed by the couple themselves against a backdrop of unimaginable poverty and abuse of females

It is not key to the reason why I'm opposed to their treatment though, you would have to deny reality to make out that Meghan and Kate got different reactions when they were both engaging in the same behaviours.

Hold on, let's not reframe the hate they receive entirely around the African Journey documentary, because that's flat out false.

A quick search of this very forum proves those kinds of threads LONG predate that documentary.

Yep, whilst it was no doubt a huge opportunity for people to questionably spit even more venom at two people who were mentally struggling. It was also the point a lot of people who weren't particularly interested in them before (myself included) took notice of how they were being treated and refused to tolerate it.

The exact opposite to what I seen and read at the time. Polls at the time saw her drop dramatically in popularity after the SA interview - Harry's popularity didn't just then even though he spoke out about his difficulties with William, though he has dropped way down currently.
