It looks better than I expected but I hope they don't make her too sympathetic or turn her into a hero like Maleficent. It looks like they are keeping her villainous or at least anti-hero-esque though. |

I find Stone's accent too distracting. Couldn't they have hired one of the seeming million of available British actresses doing the rounds atm?
That coupled with my growing weariness with Hollywood doing remake after remake, origin story after origin story, makes this another one to miss for me. Honestly looks like a SNL sketch based on Harley Quinn.

It’s basically Disney’s version of “Joker”!
I was really not into it when it was announced but the trailer has sort of sold it for me. Glenn Close was SO PERFECT as CDV though it’ll be hard to really enjoy or “believe” anyone else playing that role but I’ll see when I see! Last edited by LaLaLand; 18-02-2021 at 07:04 AM. |
