More QSalmond from the Daily Mail. I had once hoped that 2021 would shake off the Trump-era media and politics... apparently, not yet. That article refers to Scotland as a "banana republic" and "one-party state" ... I can't decide if it's genuine stupidity or just being disingenuous? Do they know what a one-party state is? Hint: It's not a state where the other parties just legitimately fail miserably to secure votes because no one wants to vote for them .

The idea that there's some sort of elaborate cover-up to frame a 100% innocent Salmond for political gain is just more conspiracy theory junk, straight out of the same playbook as the US "ELeCtiOn FrAuD". I find it somewhat amusing that English politics/press is now all aboard the "poor Salmond" train... it's not long since they were asking if Salmond was "a de-facto Russian agent" . And that at least had legs as a theory, given that it's only a few years since he was fannying around on Kremlin-sponsored television.
