Nothing worse than literally dozens of Westminster politicians do with barely a mention, swept under the rug. Of course it's all wrapped up in other politics - SNP infighting, Unionist groups, bloody MRA arseholes...

Unless of course you believe the utter nonsense that Salmond is genuinely innocent of sexual misconduct, rather than there just not being enough evidence to convict, in which case I would like to show you my finest selection of chocolate tea pots.

i dont think voters give a toss these days what politicians have been up to. It's the media and those with a vested, conflicting interest that shout disgrace and call for resignation

Salmond is clearly a sleeze that is as corrupt as they come. If a talk show on Russian state tv and support from the russian sponsored Leave.eu that Arista always promotes, don't give people a clue, i don't know what will

I have some major suspicions... his entire life was about independence back when there were no whispers of Brexit etc... then when he was out there were those bizarre ties with Russia... and now post-Brexit he's resurfaced in a "political scandal" that will, at the very least, risk completely derailing any talks of indy-refs? His "life's work"? I find it highly suspicious especially with the timing... one might almost suspect that Scottish Indy was useful to certain parties as a destabilizing effect when the UK was an EU member, but those parties would prefer the union to remain in place now that the UK and EU have separated. That's veering into Q territory though

She came across, strong, determined and in my view convincing too, in the exchanges yesterday at this inquiry.

I had to cringe at the questioning from Labours Jackie Baillie.
Unbelievable.
Of course Nicola Sturgeon had wiped the floor with her while she was acting leader of Labour.
When she was pressing in a supportive way, the Salmond side of events on this in a Holyrood session.

When Nicola Sturgeon fired back with, something like, 'she doesn't know when Jackie Baillie had become the spokesperson for Alex Salmond considering when HE was First Minister, Jackie Baillie never believed a word he said in Holyrood'.

I like that Nicola Sturgeon will admit she could have made mistakes and freely without any pressure apologises if she has.

They're the kind of politicians needed.
So I hope this inquiry ends this Salmond attempt to, what I feel, ( just my view), scupper the success of someone who is likely going to be far more successful than he ever was.
Re the Party and Country.

He was found not guilty of the charges brought to him.
Any false allegations proven so in court is a good thing.
So in that, I was pleased for him.

HOWEVER, he doesn't appear to have gone about things before his trial in the best of ways.
Nor has he since it, again just my view.
