The teacher knew exactly what he was doing and what it would stir up. It was obviously premeditated. It's a long time since I did anything close to religious education (it wasn't big in Scotland
) but, is it appropriate to mock any religion in a RE class - i don't think soThat aside, the point has been made. Those with strong religious beliefs think they can tear down our democracy if it conflicts with their religion and that has to be stamped out quickly |
