He has been full on obsessing over Meghan since she brushed him off a long time before any TV interviews and such, when it reaches a level that he can't control himself enough that it costs him his job that's a bad sign.
Creepy old guy that can't handle the fact she blew him out so tries everything he can as well as using his fan base to bash her and make her out to be a bad person.
