White people in the US don't have to fear that the police will look for a reason to shoot them, and they don't have to fear justice not being dealt since, in the few occasions of police brutality towards a white person, more often than not, the police officer faces consequences, yet it is a battle to get an officer indicted for similar violence towards a black person.

It says a lot that your first reaction to such violence is not 'this is wrong, something has to change' but 'It's okay because I've told myself that it happens to white people as well.' There was a comment in the Brexit thread I believe, about how people don't mind being treated badly as long as someone else is treated worse and your comments remind me of that a lot.

Are you even listening , yes white people get shot and killed by police aswell. But the point is you're MORE LIKELY to get killed if you're black or Hispanic in America.

Unlike Brianna Taylor, whose murder was never brought before a court, Justine Ruszczyk's murderer was tried and convicted for murder. People do not have to fight as hard for white victims to get justice, and I'm guessing no one who is looking for reasons why Daunte Wright 'deserved' to die, (because a misdemeanour is an acceptable death warrant when it comes to black people, apparently) would have done the same for this unfortunate victim. They would have likely seen her as a victim without making out that it was her fault she died.
