It's not a phrase I'm particularly fond of because the truth isn't subjective, so there is no "my" or "your" truth.

But

When it's used in the mainstream, "her truth" simply means "her side of the story". It's not a new concept, or a strange one.

It is always interesting why clips like this are dismissed as rubbish while a similar clip the other way around would be lauded as all whites being racist

True but it's being posted as a distraction, literally no different to a bloke saying "UMM some women hit their partners too!" because they don't want to listen to domestic abuse stats. Like, yes, it's true, but really not the point nor an excuse for ignoring male violence.

If he'd offered a counter-definition then there'd be something to think about, which is why I asked. "No, u are wrong!" without any offering up of an alternative isn't really leaving much to consider or be unsure about is it. If someone tells me I'm wrong and presents a convincing counter argument then I'm all ears.
