Default The Sons of Sam: A Descent into Darkness (Netflix)

Anyone seen this? I’m halfway through and it is insane.

Quote:
Author Maury Terry becomes convinced that serial killer David Berkowitz did not act alone and tries to prove that the web of darkness behind the Son of Sam murders goes deeper than anyone imagined -- and his investigation costs him everything.
Really interesting and it just seems to keep going and going. Crazy links and connections.

It’s a true crime documentary Ammi - very good one too.

First episode is basically all about the murders and the arrest, then afterwards things start to unravel. The crimes are just the start!

This was an insane watch, really enjoyed it especially the old news footage.

Spoiler:

I definitely belive there was a cult behind the killings, too many witnesses who said they saw different killers. Berkowitz is pretty recognizable so I believe he was just the fall guy in the end.

I do think the Arlis Perry killing was horrific and the security guard either did it or allowed someone else to do it or was even part of the cult himself.
