I never got into twitter either; my wife LIVES there professionally. Although it is literally professionally, she posts as a professional and academic so her tweets are squeaky clean.

i've always found twitter to be completely unintuitive and thats turned into a complete aversion to it.

I have'nt read the tweets...but if they were said years ago when he was a teenager and nothing since then I think an apology should be enough. People shouldnt have to pay the price for te rest of their life for a view they had in their teenage years.
However...I didnt think his apology seemed very genuine. He read it like it was a chore ......and I also think the Cricket Association have to be seen to act upon it even if its a short suspension.

If he's going to lose his place on the national team after he's apologised for stupid stuff he said when he was barely cooked, then we should throw away all the keys at all the prisons. Obviously current feeling is that no one can ever be forgiven nor rehabilitated.
