As much as England played well and deserved to win that game, I think that fans of England have harboured a massive inferiority complex about the German team for years, they never believe that England will win, they just hope, and are terrified if it looks like going to penalties.
On form they should have the Ukraine game in the bag, but stranger things have happened, the Ukrainians are no mugs.
After that it will depend on their frame of mind in the final, if they hopefully make it that far.
I’m still inconsolable that my beloved France are out, but the Swiss deserved their win, they never gave up.
