we have about 100 tea towels i think, none of which get used as everything gets bunged in the dishwasher

Habit was every day.
Mucky son would think nothing of wiping his hands on them.
Not a clue what hubby does with them, but always coffee etc on them

Meaningless, of course toothbrush cups are crawling with bacteria, that doesn’t mean your dishcloth isn’t and for the exact same reason.
