I mean it... it isn't... it isn't at all like those things. Those slurs are based on
making assumptions or disliking a person based on something entirely abitrary and not because of their character. Calling someone a "Gammon"
is an observation and comment on their character. There appears to be a misunderstanding here that people who are using the word Gammon believe that it applies to all middle aged white men and thus it's a slur based in generalisation akin to homophobia or racism.
People get branded "gammons" because of
the things they have said, NOT because of their age or what they look like.
