Rose has had plenty of strong dances.
The tango, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, couples choice and now the AT to name a few.
I think she's a star and she'll always have my vote.

My rankings anyway.

First Round of performances:
1. AJ & Kai (+2) - Technically a strong Quickstep, I'm not sure about it being a 40 though.
2. John & Johannes (Non-Mover)
3. Rhys & Nancy (-2)
4. Rose & Giovanni (Non-Mover)

Second Round of performances:
1. Rose & Giovanni (+3) - Fair play to Rose this was a strong performance, again I don't know about it being a 40 dance (personally I felt like John & AJ had better AT's) but it was much better than practically all of her previous performances imo.
2. AJ & Kai (-1)
3. Rhys & Nancy (Non-Mover)
4. John & Johannes (-2) - I normally like John's dances and normally defend him on here, but to me I couldn't get around the Coldplay Music being in a Jive. I know that it's a stupid reason to dislike a dance, but it took my attention away from his performance which is a bad thing to have happen imo.
I agree Mock on the Jive song.
I liked John's Jive however the song did detract attention from it.
I liked the song but not as a Jive track.

I get where you're coming from on a bad choice of music in relation to the dance.

It happened to me with Dan one week, he had awful music in my view, which clouded the dance all through.

Jesus, the girls killed it tonight, both of AJ’s dances were divine and she should have got 80 and Rose’s tango was incredible, I didn’t like any of the men’s dances at all

Fair enough.

I personally feel like her Tango has to be one of the most overscored dances of the series away from Sara's catalogue.

Yeah I felt like John danced it well enough, but we both agree that Music does elevate a performance, if the song is flat out bad or like tonight for John where the song is decent but isn't suitable for the dance it can kinda nuke the performance.

I'm gathering you're talking about Dan's Tango btw? Because I remember feeling like the song was a bit weird for a Tango.

Imo Rose’s argentine tango was the only dance worthy of 4 tens tonight. The judges are 10 crazy this season, 10’s should be reserved for outstanding performances only and they have been throwing them around like confetti.

I was rather disappointed with my second fav John's dances. I was expecting an amazing couples choice but it didn't wow me at all. AJ is placed 2nd for me tonight, loved her rumba.

I agree, the judges are supposed to be harsh on the contestants yet 10's are being handed out like they're candy.

only seems to happen on this show

if Motsi likes your performance it means you are a good entertainer, that is mainly what she also looks at besides technique, also on lets dance

a 10 from Llambi there means more than a 10 from Craig and he doesn't easily give those, easier to get 2's or 3's or even 1's from him

The only critism is that Rose has not done dances like The Jive and Charslton. However her last dance last night was the dance of the series.

I do love AJ and I hope she keeps dancing after the show. She deserves a good TV presenter role. So much talent. She's so down to earth when she said she had to go back to a call centre job after her big brothers bit on the side stint.

Round 1

Rhys & Nancy: wow, i am impressed at his solo intro, staccato throughout, great tango and for me it helps it is a queen song, one of my fave queen songs 10

AJ & Kai: is it a perfect quickstep, probably but i found it a bit boring, not my cup of tea though but good 8

John & Johannes: this is on par with Nicolas & Vadim's contemporary for me, simply breathtakingly gorgeous, performances like these are reason why i like contemporary dancing so much, phenomenal 10

Rose & Giovanni: was scared since this song choice i have high expectations with since it is Robert Herjavec & Kym Johnson's waltz song and how impactful that routine now for me is because of them being married after their DWTS journey, but this was simplistic, typical bit of ballroom heaven wow 10
----------------------------
Round 2

Rhys & Nancy: good samba routine, great hip action, also nice controlled performance nothing too hyperactive, you're progressing so well lately well done 9

AJ & Kai: very sensual rumba indeed, i don't usually always love a rumba but this was very lovely to watch 10

John & Johannes: i told you so that this song would work for a Jive, i know everything better, kicks and flicks were as tight and clean as they should be, this was perfect 10

Rose & Giovanni: i am speechless, this was brilliant, i couldn't tell who the pro was in this routine, looked like a argentine tango demonstration by two world champion pro's, this was divine and agree with motsi, the dance of the series by far 11

Yes Mock that was Dan's dance I meant.
The music was to me horrendous, like something from a horror movie.

Really took my mind away from the whole dance.

You have a point about the Music, it sounded like something from A Nightmare On Elm Street.

Llambi sounds like a good judge as they're supposed to be harsh.

The problem with last night for me was that every dance was overscored to some extent imo because AJ, John and Rhys have all had better dances in other weeks that have scored either the same or lower than last nights, and with Rose her AT was her best dance for me personally, but like usual with Rose some bonus points came in and now it's being treated like a god tire performance.

To me when John's Paso & AT and AJ's Charleston didn't get 40/40 then it kinda confirmed to me that our judges aren't very good at their job. They're likeable but they do tend to be very biased imo, and despite the protection of Rhys in the series, I do feel that they let the public sway their opinion too much.

I mean who remembers that Stacey Dooley used to score similar on the leaderboard as Faye & Ashley just because she was more popular with the public.

Actually in the dance off I felt Rhys was marginally better and I dislike Samba's intensely.

How I now hope the final sees John and Johannes do the Pirate Paso Doble again.

However the winner with the public will be and has been since week 7, Rose.

Congratulations to all the finalists however.

This is the difference between this and I'm a celeb. I think it was fairly obvious the final 3 were going to be these 3 couples. However this time they all deserve it. Rose and Giovanni are predictable winners but deservedly so. They have been an absolute pleasure this series. Whereas the I'm a celeb final it was obvious throughout the series that he was going to win but he didn't deserve too he just knew how to put on the act.

Last year's final of strictly was so wide open I hadn't a clue who was gonna win and was shocked and so happy when Bill and Oti won.

It's obvious rose has this in the bag but it will still be a good final I'd be really really shocked and sad if she doesn't win!

Rose was always going to win, from the beginning even her most average dances were blown out of proportion, I think the public and the judges have all fallen into the ‘she’s clearly better than everyone else because she’s doing that while deaf!!’ mindset, I genuinely doing believe she’d have been this well received if she wasn’t deaf

I think Rose is an excellent dancer and I love her partnership with Giovanni.
She's also really lovely and funny.
Hoping to see their Viennese waltz and couples choice again.
If not any of her ballroom will do, I love them all.
I like her Latins as well, maybe the Paso needs another outing. It has potential to be spectacular.

And hopefully their Argentine tango.
