everyone is expected to be miserable these days. Misery is forced down our throats in 1 form or another every single day of the year. I dread to think what peoples mental health will be like in 10+ years

Even when you go to tune into something that's meant to be lighthearted like Sky Sports News, it instead turns into a Covid discussion for 18 hours of the day, racist abuse for about 3 hours of the day, and then finally what I am guessing everyone is tuning into the Channel for which is the Sports themselves get about 3 hours too. I miss the 00's and early 10's where if you wanted to watch something serious you had to seek it out rather than it being forced down my throat like nowadays does.
