It’s a fairly simple concept .. % wise there may be fewer serious cases and/or deaths BUT with 150, 000 new infections each day there are gonna be huge numbers requiring hospital treatment .

the numbers in hospital with omicron are tiny (less than 200) against the massive infection rate. Of that number in hospital we dont even know the reason for them being in hospital, most may not be omicron induced. Of those that are in hospital because of omicron, what % were boostered. Under any circumstance, its unlikely that figure is more than a handful
Thats not making things up, its looking at actual numbers in hospital as a baseline. Those are not figures to be in a panic about. |
